Physical Description | Sngarlassanarn is a lean and muscular L'Dira with the standard white hair of his species. He stands at 6'3" at the ears when erect, 3'4" when on all fours. The L'Dira as a species have been walking erect for millions of years, but are comfortable prowling on all fours, so their hind legs are well developed to accommodate both easily, which leads to a slightly odd gait. He speaks in a low voice with a slight rumble and a small lisp when not using the universal translator. On duty he will use the universal translator for ease, which gives him a baritone voice with no accent. Snarl keeps his mane trimmed to a military buzz. |

Personality & Traits
General Overview | Sngarlassanarn, or Snarl as most people call him, is a L'Dira and a career member of Starfleet, and conducts himself as both. He occasionally forgets his place as an officer, owing to his coming "from the ranks." He is very smart and quick witted, even though many humanoids consider him a large kitten. He isn't very appreciative of that. Despite the ignorance of some humanoids, Snarl is a very personable L'Dira, though like all of his species, he can have a temper. In his years of service, he has refined this to his tongue and only takes his temper out physically on willing sparring partners and holodeck simulations. |
|
Strengths | Snarl is well versed in the pre-hospital and in-hospital care for all species in the Federation, as well as Klingon, Ferengi, Cardassian and Bajorans. He has an organized method about him and is efficient in his job. He is personable and has a calming effect on patients, but he can be intimidating if he needs to be.
Weaknesses | He can also be intimidating sometimes when he doesn't want to be. He has some trouble understanding different humanoid accents when the universal translator is not working. He has a temper. Children terrify him. Snarl also has a bad habit of "grooming" himself in public, especially during meetings where he is passively listening. |
|
Ambitions | Snarl has met most of his career goals. He's content serving the rest of his time in the Fleet as a medical officer. He would, however, prefer to die in glory and service rather than an old fangless man.
Hobbies & Interests | Study of languages interests Snarl, even though his biggest obstacle is his very thick accent. He also enjoys music and has a lovely mewling voice. He likes to spar. He is also quite fond of this odd Terran sport "polo".

Medical Information
Medical Profile | Snarl has scars on his face from a face-to-face encounter with a Jem'Hadar during the Dominion War. Also, his ear is slightly misshapen from an encounter with a child during his Pediatrics rotation in medical school.
Psychological Profile | Snarl formerly battled with post-traumatic stress disorder, brought on by his war-time experiences. He used to meet with a counselor weekly, but does so now on an infrequent irregular basis. He has a temper, and does not tolerate (perceived) weakness or incompetence. |
