Physical Description | Graced with the genes of her mother who stood at a towering six-four, Riley sprouted up quickly to a graceful, athletic frame of six feet within a slender silhouette. She keeps her hair short and spiked upward and outward in a very palm-tree-like style. She’s pretty to those who don’t mind her lack of chest in place of well formed abs that the uniform usually covers up, but beyond that, skinny as a stick, with the stamina to maintain her general lack of figure that her high metabolism holds hostage. |

Personality & Traits
General Overview | Riley is generally always happy. Even during bad situations, she'll be the one to find the bright side in it. If the shuttlecraft is on fire, she'll make ample note that space isn't always cold, and unforgiving. Just unforgiving! She's happy, open, outgoing, and the first to start a party for no reason at all. She's also punctual, reliable, and trustworthy. If she see's a sad face, Riley will often try and cheer them up just as long as they aren't Klingon -- in which case, she'll just give them the space they need. She's quick to live and love, and hardly ever makes an enemy. Trustworthy, intelligent, willing to learn new things, and one of the fastest explorers on either two feet or on the energy currents carried by impulse engine, she’s full of life and wonder and the flame shows no sign of dimming soon. Watch out for her though, because she runs everywhere as opposed to walking. As far as she can remember, her minimum speed limit is 1kpm. |
|
Strengths | She is a natural close-range navigator. She can slide a shuttlecraft through the tightest spots and squeeze runabouts into places only shuttles have seen. She has the ability to make people feel better when things are going wrong. She's empathetic and sensitive to those around her. She is very observant and keen to exploration. Due to her love of sports, she has good stamina during most physical activities. |
|
Weaknesses | Riley isn't very strong despite her physical longevity. Don't ask her to pry open any doors during a power outage. She's prone to acute death if subjected to P90X and downright dangerous if exposed to cross-fit. She also has a weakness for German Chocolate. |
|
Hobbies & Interests | She loves comedy and is quick to joke and make people laugh. Any sport, bring it on! Mild Holoaddiction Water Parks, Recreation Facilities, Surfing, and Free-Diving She likes to run – everywhere! Anything related to Nature both in space, and planetside. Boys |
Personal History
Personal History | Born in Oceanview California in 2366. By 2376 she developed a fascination with the various small-craft that would fly over the shores of the Pacific. The fascination grew well into her teens. She also developed a hunger for sports, any sports, and adopted a very active lifestyle that balanced with her academics and her love-life; by 2387, she suffered a breakup with her longtime boyfriends in order to accept a career in Starfleet. Only one friend remained in her life after the personal traumatic incident of losing those that she loved. |

Service Chronology | 2384 - Accepted into Starfleet Academy as a cadet. As a civilian, she retained flight credits and had already obtained her license. Therefore, she was placed into an intermediate flight school usually held by 2nd Year Cadets during her academic studies. 2385 - Formally known as the the Oshkosh Incident, Cadet Finley was placed on flight suspension for enacting an ancient Aviation tradition with a replicated aircraft known as a P-51 Mustang and using it with her classmates to attempt to drop a bag of flour onto a flotation platform in the middle of San Francisco Bay, California. While she may have studied her history, it was later brought to her attention that this was usually performed by a type of craft known as an Ultralight. 2386 - Flight Status Reinstated 2387 - Put on report for attempting to claim the P-51 as personal property during a Starfleet Acquisitions Audit. She was given the honor of naming the aircraft the "YeagerBomber". All other P-51's involved in the Oshkosh incident were sent to recycling. 2388 - Graduated from Starfleet Academy at the back of her class. |

Service Record | Known in Starfleet Academy as somewhat of a class clown, she was prone to slacking despite getting straight A's in her academics. When the classes became too easy for her, she was quick to find ways to fill in her time that the professors didn't find very funny. Despite her academics taking a hit, her field-work was exemplary and she always tested through everything that the professors and instructors threw at her. Many cadets knew her well, and some became very personal friends with her; so much so that she nearly broke into tears during graduation at the thought of being separated by people she cared about very much. She attempted to sway the Academy to allow for a friendship program that would assign her postings with someone she knew, but due to her party lifestyle and active defiance of the rules in other aspects of Academy life, the admirals were not bothered by her pleas. She now finds herself aboard the Arizona with a whole new life ahead of her as the Chief Shuttlecraft Pilot known across the fleet as the girl that sparked the Oshkosh Incident. |
