| General Overview | Curious to a fault, Alex has been known to dismantle almost anything to understand how it functions. She has a voracious need for knowledge, and a drive to seek it out, often to a detriment to social and familial connections. She spent much of her youth alone with her head deep in a PADD. She has a keen interest in computers and linguistics which initially led her into synthetic intelligence research and development, but she changed tack and joined Starfleet Academy when she felt a need to learn more beyond what her job entailed. |

Personal History
| Personal History | A loner for most of a adolescent years, Alex rarely formed any close attachments with any of her peers. At Aberystwyth University she had a small group of friends, but that was difficult for her to maintain when she went to work for Synthitel Designs in Quebec. While she had many work colleagues at Synthitel, it wasn't until she joined Starfleet that she had some real connections; her roommate, Kelsia Tynn and Alex bonded over studies and the difficulties of the physical rigours of Starfleet training and became close friends and still maintain contact to this day. |
